About

I’m Anisat Yunusa, a Product Designer who loves solving problems and creating experiences that are helpful, functional, and impactful through design. Over the past few years, I’ve worked both as a Designer and as an Interface Developer helping businesses elevate the experience of their users and essentially improving certain aspects of their lives while meeting the business goals.

I was most recently working at Softcom as an Interface developer where I help create delightful experiences on the web for users. Before then, I worked at Wallets Africa where I was responsible for rethinking the solution to most of its products. I also consulted briefly at Lendsqr where I handled most of its product design outputs also worked closely with engineering to ensure a consistent look across each product.

I’m currently exploring and learning the design and development practice of building user interfaces with modular components which basically means designing and developing from the components level. As a designer, it helps me build a consistent look, feel and experience for a product faster. As a developer, I write less code faster, more efficiently which gives room for scalability.

Outside of work, I love travelling and experiencing new places, cultures and foods. I like to think I am a foodie, a fake one though because after clamouring for food, in the end, I eat just a little but I love food. In my spare time, I like to read, sleep and find interesting watches on Netflix.
